As reported below, the scale of the British national debt is staggering. For us the greater concern is that interest rate that is paid upon this debt. UK government bonds (Gilts) are currently yielding an interest rate of just 3.47%.
This is around the lowest that it has ever been, what will happen to bullion when they rise?
